Playa Valdearenas Nude Beach,
Tolerated Nude Beach
Playa Valdearenas is situated 12km west of Santander near the town of Liencres on Spain's northern coast, in the region of Cantabria. This large nudist beach is on a 3km long sand bank which allows bathing on either the seaward or the landward sides. There are usually many nude sunbathers on this beach. This is also a splendid beach for windsurfing. Follow the signs from Liencres to find the nude beach.
VALDEARENAS NUDE BEACH REPORTS:
Great beach, non-urbanized, 2800 metres x 35 metres fine golden sand and dunes, windy beach, strong surge, high occupation, surrounded by the Natural Park by Liencres and a golf club, embraced by Ri'a de Mogro that almost surrounds it, restaurants, monitoring and signaling, Local Police, position of the Red Cross, showers, cleaning of beaches and wastebaskets. Nudism is normally practiced in the zone of dunes and the central zone of the beach, after passing the watchtower. Access: In car from Liencres in the direction of Maple, take a deflection to the right indicated to the Beach from Valdearanas crossing the Natural Park to arrive at a car park, then continue on foot. Nobody is surprised when finding (in high season) that the entrance of the beach is jammed with people. After an pleasant stroll of 10 minutes is the Nudist zone.
